when the fees are so expensive. Link does thousands of mini transactions providing info to the ETH network how does it do this in a profitable way?
Chainlink runs on many more blockchains than eth sir. Eth is just one.
Ok but how does it get around the crazy ETH fees when it could run on Hedera for micro cents
Chain agnostic, you havent done any research, have you
It's Blockchain agnostic, it runs on any chain that needs it's services
Why do you think I’m asking the question
https://docs.chain.link/docs/off-chain-reporting/
The token is also bridged to other networks to be used as node payment on those network, I believe.
Does it pay its fees to each network or only on ETH
People pay fees depending on the chain. So polygon fees for link are much cheaper per call than on eth
Ok gotcha so fees are not only paid in ETH
Exactly, it's much cheaper to run link node depending on the chain
Chainlink node fees are exclusively paid in link Gas fees are paid in whatever the chain demands
