Help request : does someone know who (which exchange) is

using 0.0.50570? someone got scammed by a youbube and sent some Hbar (about 30k Hbar) to 0.0.640562 by mistake as indicated by that scam youtube a few hours ago. That Youtube in question seems to be deleted by that contents creator. All of the fund in 0.0.640562 went to 0.0.50570 with memo 034755930564.

Thanks for advise. All I wanted to help that someone who was scammed, is to seek community help in figuring out which exchange or entity is using 0.0.50570 account address, just in case that exchange can help to that poor victim and the police.

Welcome to the the "wild west" as Gary Gensler called it. Those hbar are gone. No one knows who owns those accounts, even Hedera doesn't know. There is nothing to prevent anyone at any exchange or project from just stealing, scamming, and lying to people. So the best you can do is look at the integrity of the people running a project and the quality of their work. Hedera is second to none in integrity, but as a quasi-public utility, they don't currently prevent scammers from operating on the platform.
