What'S up guys. I have a couple of questions about

AAVE. Where does AAVE read asset prices from? I have ETH being used as collateral for a loan and want to be able to accurately track the price that AAVE uses as I've gotten close to liquidation on this dip. Second question is how is the point of liquidation determined? Is it based on daily candle close or if the price wicks past that point for even a second is that enough, or something else?

Hey 👋 1. Price feeds are taken from chainlink oracles. 2. Liquidation is determined when the oracle price updates the contracts and the liquidation threshold has been reached. The reason for using chainlink oracles is to ensure the data is properly curated, e.g. outlying prices removed and the reported price is as close to mid market as possible. So the oracles are designed to be more resilient to manipulation.

All good, there are also 3rd party apps like DefiSaver and InstaDapp that offer liquidation protection if you prefer something like that.
