Good news, Brazil! 🇧🇷 🚀 🪙 cREAL, a stablecoin tied

to the Brazilian Real, has launched on Celo, in a milestone that marks the third stablecoin for mobile payments available on the network, following cUSD and cEUR.

cREAL works as a decentralized, crypto-collateralized algorithmic stablecoin that can be used for decentralized (CeFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi) apps and services on the Celo blockchain.

🤔 But why Brazil? The answer is: Opportunity for everyone!

Brazil is a high-growth market with high rates of crypto adoption. In 2021, trading volumes in Brazil increased 2,247% YoY. Roughly 30% of Brazilians own cryptocurrencies, making it one of the fastest growing crypto markets.

Behind this boom are the challenges that Latin American countries regularly face, such as high inflation and limited access to financial services.

At the same time, thanks to the greatly increased Internet connectivity and mobile usage in the region, there's also a huge potential source for solutions to these problems.

As a mobile-first platform that makes financial dApps and crypto payments accessible to anyone with a mobile phone, Celo comes naturally into the picture.

Good night. I'm Brazilian, great news, however two observations, is there any incentive for keeping Creal, like the 50% APR of Cusd and Ceur? And I've been in the project since the beginning of 2021, a group in Portuguese is missing
