needed for a vote to pass from 6m to 2m and after 5 days it has 100% yes votes .. but only 136k vote .. i dont get it, why dont people vote ? its free. > https://snapshot.org/#/frax.eth/proposal/0xeb98c84145a88601930cde3bfcd3c50589cc2c7531072037b31498736c9dd518
You want more yes or more no? I don't get what the issue is here
You're wishing for it to be voted no?
it does not matter how people vote, the rules say we need 6.1m vote for a vote to be valid
i would be ideal if it was voted yes , because if we enforce the current rules then half the votes this year would be void because we dont hit the quorum amount , im trying to reduce the quorum amount so we hit it more often
I think because most people don't care to participate. They want to ride the wave and we picked up a lot of investors like that. To get enough votes, prob more vote campaigns are needed. I agree, prob needs to be lowered to "some percent of expected votes". Current estimate for number of expected voters is too high
I don't think 2M is a good idea. There was this recent terrible proposal that had a single whale voting 1.3M for. If 700K voted against and quorum was 3M, it would have passed. https://snapshot.org/#/frax.eth/proposal/0xeb98c84145a88601930cde3bfcd3c50589cc2c7531072037b31498736c9dd518 - I think it's important to make sure one or two whales can't arbitrarily spend treasury funds...
many votes have passed and been acted on without making the 6m quorum, things like the multichain FRAX AMO's that only got 2.8m votes, most of the votes to increase the bribes would have failed and many more. only 10 votes have ever had 6m+ votes,
