Ran into a ripple maxi at the gym today hes

a bodybuilder influencer guy with 2 million instagram followers lol. does anyone here have a strong opinion on that token? The only reason i care is bc the dude was saying it had all these functions with swift and governments pledging to use it (i havent done my DD on this token) and it sounded an awful lot like what FRAX is trying to do 😂

I know frax can conduct their own monetary policy on the open market and whatnot and i was obviously skeptical but at the same time idk chit about ripple to be honest

Thanks Reim. Yeah i was thinking in retrospect i shouldve asked the dude what the limitations and criticisms of ripple were. He was advocating it pretty hard so i didnt think of doing that mid convo. Looking forward to doing some research in cryptoland tn

Ripple has nothing to do with the space Frax occupies really, XRP has zero presence in DeFi and isn't a stablecoin. Its a fairly centralized blockchain for centralized bank settlements, even calling it cryptocurrency is a stretch. XRP maxis are a different breed of bagholder.
