to develop the NFT and GameFi segment of the network, the NFT & GameFi Alliance association requested 50 000 000 EVER from the giver with one transaction for purposes of the Alliance. The proposal caused a serious discussion in the community.
"This is the most ridiculous proposal in the history of Everscale. If you do it, I'm leaving. I'm dead serious", - Mitja Goroshevsky, CTO TON Labs.

Mitja is the man! He may be little harsh but his comments are always on point and calls bs when he sees it.
I totally agree. Mitja is a good, honest, and hardworking person. He is also frank, which I really value. No doubt! But at the same time, I would appreciate being considerate of the repercussions of our comments too. The greater you are, the greater the effects of your words! Think about those who have just put their hard earned money (and perhaps life savings) in the boosted staking for a year or two on Everscale. With no partial or full withdrawal until the end of the contract! I, personally, couldn't sleep last night! Wondering what will happen to me (as an investor) if major contributors to this great project leave it on a whim?! Did I make a mistake when I invested in Everscale? Did I make a mistake when I asked my family members to invest along side with me?I tend to believe otherwise...
Of course not, man. 😄 A) Mitya isn't going anywhere. He was just pissed off. B) Even if something like that happened, it would have no effect on Surf or boosted staking. They have a whole entire team. Just because someone has an outburst it doesn't mean anything like what you're talking about will happen. That's actually one of the brilliant things about Everscale - no censorship. You can say whatever you want, even if it's incendiary. Obviously everyone would prefer people not do that, but they have every right to. Free speech, baby! So long as it doesn't go through one of the chats that has their own chat rules like this one, etc. So relax. Crack open a beer. Everything's fine. 🍻
On the point B) about Mitja's departure having no effect on the project's future. I'll just say out loud what many people have been thinking of for last couple of months at least. Ever's advantage among competing projects is its technological base. And still by market cap it's behind TonCoin which has marketing without technology. Now, imagine what happens if key people behind Ever's technology stack move to TonCoin?
