Let’s have a chat….. So after the recent GameStop SEC filing,

which announced both partnerships with LoopRing and as well Immutable X. Via the Wall Street Journal “article” a few weeks ago, we know that GameStop was working with “2 partners in the NFT Space”. So what does this mean for LRC?

1) The only reason that there is an “announcement” today has to do with the IMX token. It looks as though GameStop will be using the IMX token integrated in the NFT Marketplace. Since GameStop is a publicly traded company, they had to file with the SEC about it.

Let’s be clear: This was NOT an announcement. There has been no official statement from GameStop, yet….

2) What is IMX? IMX acts as a scaling solution for NFTs. With IMX, you can mint and create NFTs with no trading cost. However, the Marketplace will still need a Layer 2 for Transactions, that’s where LoopRing comes in….

3) The LRC token was never speculated to be used on the GameStop platform. The LoopRing Layer 2 technology is what is being used to Power the Marketplace, and what the Marketplace is being built upon. Remember, the LoopRing L2 tech and the LRC token are not one in the same, LoopRing tech can be used separately from the LRC token.

Why is this big for LRC?

Every time a DEX or CEX is built on LoopRing, that exchange will need to stake 250,000 or 1,000,000 LRC to operate the exchange. Now that we know the Marketplace is being built on LoopRing, you can be sure that other big players know this too. The goal is to attract other premier partners to build on this Tech, locking up more coins and decreasing overall supply.

What partners could there be? Rumors of Alibaba and Bank of China have been circulating. We can expect big some big announcements to come.

IMX will mint and bridge L2 NFTs since it's ZK and Optomisitic compatible (Zksync, Boba, etc.) the engine of this will be LRC. That's how I see the relationship

Does that mean that gme or gme-customers have to buy loops to run the system?

U think layer 2 is a good long term solution ?
