There's no perfect way of doing it without spending some GAS... It's part of the process.

I made a proposal to prevent the first come first served, approach and distribute XVS equally each day between VRT being swapped. The first come first served approach means people will waste gas fees each day, or be front run by bots paying high gas fees. It will be like the pancake squad NFT launch nightmare every day.

As I understand it yes. It's a first come first served basis but even if a BOT comes in first and Swap, this means 60.2M VRT per day... This cannot go on forever. Nobody has unlimited VRT.
