Not really. They're yet another wireless mesh setup trying to cover the world in a brand new infra. IMO all of these are doomed to fail because it doesn't matter how large you get the network, eventually all boxes will need to be updated (note that ISPs update their boxes every year or so), and if there's say a million of these out there, it's a big ask for every single miner to spend another $500-1000 on new hardware to stay mining. Instead of trying to re-build a world-wide infrastructure, especially while some countries straight up don't allow you to transmit outside of your home, NKN is a simple software solution to build a internet layer on top of the existing world wide infra.
