Yeah this might be a better approach. Anyway Hedera kept repeating that SC are obsolete/slow etc. and nobody really paid attention to them, until they suddenly focused on them, because they probably felt pressure. Why wasnt that prioritised? We could have seen much bigger adoption by now. There certainly needs to be bigger community involvement. With open-sourced code this could get better, hopefully...

Vitalik and his article on quadratic voting is really good read on this, at least re: voting.

Yes Hong Kong based DLA Piper is developing it but I think they've only done experiments so far
