Chainlink supply is limited to 1b tokens
People paying for the services
Sweet summer child
Thanks! For the current model, where the payment goes for the service? To Chainlink team?
To the node operators
I get it. How staking would push the price up? Isn’t staking same as node operators? The money just move from A to B and the impact remains same right? Some people say staking would help push the price up
Sir pls expand your thinking and consider the usecases throughout every industry on a global scale. While any given stake backed contract is active, that generates fee revenue from the base service functions and revenue from putting up the level of required collateral to secure the contract. Some contracts may be executed and done immediately, many contracts may be active for hours/days/weeks/months. Consider the derivatives market as an example. And the "pool" of active contracts is going to forever increase with the adoption of SCs throughout every industry. This then becomes pretty simple supply/demand dynamics re more and more LINK being locked up to service these contracts, there is only ever going to be 1billion LINK available to facilitate this but there are 18 decimal places to play with ;)
Thanks for sharing 🙌
