So, do I understand this correctly: I'm grandfathered in previously

to tier 6. There have been 0 advantages compared to tier 5.
After the update I will be downgraded to tier 5, so I won't have tier 6 advantages (not yet known).

Quite literally only carried on staking so that I had the top tier advantages. Irony is if I would have traded in Nov, what I have staked would be enough for the new tier 6.

Did the Dao vote on this ?

hmm - they removed the bottom tier so the number shifted down, but the benefits are the same. Adding a tier at the top isn’t taking benefits away from you, its just giving bigger players more incentive to stake more, which benefits all WOO holderes
