FRAX and UST) - is it mostly a winner takes all? Or room for both?
there is room for both, and many more.
We're not competing with UST. I literally talked to Do yesterday. We have never had a zero sum mentality with truly any project and people that have been here can confirm this. We tried before to work with MIM (they refused, then imploded afterwards) and we have great relationships with FEI+alUSD.
Love it. Thanks for sharing
plenty of room for both. UST is so built up on the Anchor yield though. Once that drops sub 15% I'd be surprised if there wasn't a TVL unwind, but we will see.
I think you're misunderstanding it, he doesn't mean literally implode it on the spot. He just means lower its relevance by providing a more high yield alternative in UST based pools (that also will potentially include FRAX).
What does this mean for frax in the scenario where Do's strategy is not sustainable and fails to maintain UST at peg?
CT is full of various voices about $UST, its risk is obvious, I am not sure how Sam will evaluate, if cooperation hopes to cut the risk. I'm not looking forward to it, but I believe in the team
