No but if you want to be involved in early phase staking you're going to need to put up more LINK to compete for access
Essentially this generates a "node war" scenario where to increase their ranking, nodes are going to have incentive to lock up more LINK.. which is good for us :)

umm as in to run your own node? it might be feasible with 1k eventually for the lower value contracts
keep in mind running a chainlink node is serious business , not like spinning up an ETH validator

sure but its also about the uptime and all dev ops involved in running a chainlink node 24/7
