Anyone knows how this proxy staking work? Does it have

any requirements on how much hedera need to be staked to run a node? Since there is no penalty... And people are free to move the hbar around... How does it work?

Ya that gives me head in. What are the requirements of being a node then? How does the economy work without locking any Hbar... So a node may have no hbar in it?😅 Someone pls help me to understand this

To proxy stake, you don't run a node. You pick which node you want to be part of. For now, that is one of the 25 GC member nodes. When permissioned community nodes are enabled H2 2022, the requirements and process to run a node will be revealed I assume.

Great job calling up this two year old post that not only explains Hedera's unique approach to staking but also how different the properties of its hashgraph are from standard blockchain...and that Hedera is always building out for things years in the future

My understanding of proxy staking on Hedera is you don't have to do anything but pick the node you are staking to. After that, you can do anything with your tokens in your wallet as usual. Its automatic and dynamic and it does not lock up your tokens.
