eval this oracle vs Chainlink's?
It's superior. I kneel.
My rudimentary understanding is that twap oracles are generally prone to having a small but always constant delta between reported price and true price Due to the nature of using time weighted average price What this means is that in the event of a true price swing which should liquidate someone, the twap Oracle might lag behind and not report a price which would cause liquidation - when it should The advantage is that it’s less susceptible to flash manipulation when using one (or few) data source(s) Disadvantage is that it’s not actually real time data, it’s a time weighted average
appreciate this explanation mang. You're right in the risk of using not live data as they point out in the snapshot. I'm guessing Chainlink's IS based on real time data?
Correct Chainlinks reported prices are based on an aggregation of aggregations of multiple data sources But it’s all real time price. Not time weighted or anything.
