Dear Celer team, with respect to Ronin network exploit, in

which hackers were able to get keys of 5 validators out of 9. What happened is history now. Considering Celer network has only 11 validators. So can we prevent something like that?

Currently there is still a whitelisting process on a partner basis. However, once SGN is phased out more community validators can be created and join the validator list. We cannot say when this will happen yet though so you'll have to stay tuned for that

Hi Jens, the 2 nodes Celer owns represent half of the staked tokens(!). For a malicious attack 2/3 of the staked tokens are needed, this would mean just another 1 or 2 nodes. This imbalance is not very favorable. It would be better if the staked tokens were more balanced and more nodes would be available.

1 node cannot hold more than 1/3rd of the total tokens staked, although yes, more tokens on other validators would be even better

Celer Network only owns 2 nodes and more validators are added. So this case is very unlikely to happen. Especially now more and more are staking and more validators in the future
