WOO tokenomics, I would like to hear views in here from long term holders. There is about 16.5m a month being released to seed and equity investors until October and a further roughly 17m being released monthly to the team and advisors. By my calculations I think the circulating supply with be about 1.5bn by the end of 2023. Is this really so bad? I would be grateful for opinions, thanks
Imo in the short term it is not the best due to those unlocks you already mentioned. On the other hand they are bringing more utility to the woo token over the last months with trade to earn for example. But in the long term it will be great
only 81m left in seed vesting wallet, over 7 months thats 11m; also dont think the team + advisors is anywhere near that high
So only around 10mil monthly unlock
At 3-5$ per token and 1.5 b tokens in total that is not bad. However currently we need a lot of buyers monthly just to sustain price during token releases. I'm also kind of bummed a lot of value is flowing the company equity instead of token holders
can you clarify how value is flowing to company equity?
As per the quarterly reports the remaining equity after buybacks does not enter the token at any point. So it has to be added to some equity at some point. Not sure if its Kronos or woo. But the remaining revenue has to go somewhere
series a was given half in equity (which is basically an IOU if we ever IPO) and half in tokens from the team allocation (the 20%) that vest over 3.5 years.
