If played right this drama could turn into something good, almost a blessing. If peg restores and every vires users gets every single penny back, people will gain trust, even more then before. Just look at exchanges or platforms like crypto.com when they got hacked, they received much publicity on how they would pay back the losses if needed and that way gained a lot of confidence from their user base

the only thing that needs to happen is for the peg to normalize like it should and people to regain trust, once people start lending, borrowing again there will be again liquidity and then the big accounts should slowly start to unwind imo. Most important thing right now is that the bankrun stops, no platform could handle a banking run like this. If everyone acted just normal there would be not that big of an issue... who doesn't like to have a 105% interest rate? just my 2 sats
