Appart from providing liquidity, FRAX is used for lending, borrowing downside, minting FRAX into AMOs in order to generate yield and accrue value for FXS holders. I think the reason why @skilightt mentioned the unique value propositions was to show the value of FRAX and why it appeals to the whole market which allows us to increase the use cases of FRAX.

Yes I believe it is being coded from the ground up by the Frax core team and of course since Frax is a decentralised and open source, project other developers will be able to give suggestions which can be enacted through governance.
