It would be like if an erc20 token in ETH ends up having a higher mcap than ETH itself. It’s difficult but not impossible

Ok. But right now it's trading around ~$9, so wouldn't that in theory mean it is 1/3 the value of FXS? (in FDV terms)

In FDV terms ya but I agree with @kamikazETH FDV is a meme. We’re working on finalizing the emission schedule and also announcing how veFPIS will work (part of the utility is voting on the actual CPI gauges eventually which is very important). It’s not the same exact emission as FXS.
