there are individual transformers for and they scan a merchant-generated code. They do not need to be "Flexa-enabled". Any wallet/app that integrates code to be Flexa-enabled can generate their own code and they will each have their own collateral pool.
Yes, that's correct. If an app is integrated with Flexa via the Spend SDK, capacity is supplied by that app's collateral pool. For any other app on a supported network (apps that are not Flexa-enabled), capacity is supplied by the respective network's Transformer.

The question is not “why not” but “when”… we had to start somewhere, and will definitely be looking at expanding transformer support soon.

Right now transformers are only for blockchain/distributed ledger networks, not assets
