You can avoid scams by knowing how scammers scam you. For example, many scammers have sent DMs to me and I would say go away scammer! and they would delete the chat and I also fight back with the scammers that try their best to pretend to be a support representative.

I had some trouble in GAL discord group where I could not able to claim the nft I won so I asked for support there. One guy who was helping others and looked like someone from support ( badge, name ) messaged me and there he started solving my problem and thn he sent me this lunchdapps.netlify.app to connect the wallet there and blah blah...I know who's scammer or not but this guy literally didn't looked like one. Open that website and you'll what I did wrong.
