between hbar and Dag (Constellstion) are?
I’ll give you my 2 cents, but please remember I’m just an idiot on the internet. From what I understand the tech might be pretty similar? (there are more tech folks on here that can speak to that aspect much better than I can). Here’s the big difference I see…DAG is going to have a very difficult time with adoption. They are not EVM compatible and as we’ve seen it’s difficult to break into the established market if you’re asking folks to rewrite everything even if your tech is better. Hedera has a door open with SC and SC 2.0 so it’s easier to get people in the door. Then they can check out HCS and HTS. Also, DAG has a small float - which means they don’t have billions of dollars to incentivize devs and projects to migrate over or start on their network like Hedera is doing right now. Finally they have almost no functional use of their network so they don’t have a project to showcase and bring people over.
Thank you many times sir
But why did the airforce choose dag and not hbar
the airforce gave Constellation a small business grant to develop software....they didn't "choose" them in any sense, they give lots of these grants....and this was in August 2019 before Hedera OA.. I'm sure the air force is perfectly aware of Hedera which is built by a popular long standing professor of cryptography and mathematics at their own academy...DAG is a distraction.
