The trading volume of the stETH pool is extremely high

today almost $600M. Wouldn't I miss out on all the trading fees if I move funds over to the new one?

But the old pool will not be retired or something.

No, no, that will only harm the peg.

I'm really confused right lol I'm trying to figure out whether Lido actually recommends or wants that we all remove out liquidity from the old pool or is just a new strategy to have 2 pools in order to strenghten the peg?

The new pool is there to incentivize LPs to withdraw their liquidity from the old pool. When you withdraw, you'll withdraw more stETH than ETH (this helps the peg). We would like users to LP in the new pool since it helps with the peg between stETH and ETH. It's not the fact that there are two pools which helps the peg, per se. It's the fact that if you wanted to move to the new one, you'd have to withdraw from the old one (that helps the peg).

Will I get a bonus if I withdraw from the old pool and deposit in the new one?
