The same proven to be correct with periodic SAFT distributions,

there was always sale at time of distribution as everyone was getting at same time and large amount. Haven't they learnt about that?. There were questions when SAFT distributions for years. Are they planning to do the same mistake now for staking?

I don't know if they aim to reward all at the same time every 3 months, this doesn't make sense. Hence I said if they want 3 months basis every day similar number of accounts will have their 3 months period, then next day another. Then it would spread equally as you will get that 4 times a year but each accounts at different days. Rather than cumulative dump as they do with SAFT on the same day.

But the hip is proposing a 90 day default but user choice for period (perhaps incentivized for longer lock up)...so users could coordinate to unstake in mass and sell creating price drops and security issues
