Better hardware in general means more tps. But my guess is that their mining protocol allows for such high tps when comparing it to other eos.io chains. Also, I assume this has not been made on mainnet yet? Those results can differ.

I am not sure in detail how the consesus for block production works with ultra, but the time it takes for block producers to accept new blocks (make consesus) does differ. Like how dpos works vs pos.

At the moment it is running on a single thread GPU. Can easily scale to a multiple thread. And don't forget that AMD and the head of their blockchain department is working closely with Ultra. 👀
