been here since '21) but have been fascinated with the chainlink protocol. Also pretty sick and tired of the lack of valuable conversation you can have on projects in CT.
I was wondering, could someone be so kind to
1) explain to me how/why the tokenomics/value capture of $link will only truly be realised once staking goes live, and
2) what are the biggest challenges/risks people believe chainlink has moving forward?
https://t.me/chainlinkbreadcrumbs This should keep you busy for a while Tim
Only risk CL has going forward is institutional adoption of smart contracts. While CL can & will have other uses, it's primary value for now & in the next 5-10 yr horizon will be derived from smart contract transactions. Currently, there no reason to believe smart contracts will not become mainstream. Highly unlikely DeFi doesn't take off. No investment is fail proof. I'm the type of investor who believes even if there's a .01% chance, that's still a chance.
