There are discussions over it and a governance vote will need to pass for it to be implemented. It wont kill off FXS because it will still work the same way as it works now, any and all AMO profits above the CR that comes into the protocol goes to veFXS holders and/or burns. The only difference is now the CR will be higher.

A nightmare scenario can't play out at the current CR. Increasing it doesn't make it safer but may make some uneducated investors feel better.
