Any search engine recommendations? Brave search uses its own algorithm

afaik so im interested in that, other search engines use google or bing search results

The better alternative would be selfhosting. Anything else provides bad search results or hurts youre privacy. DuckDuckGo does not suggest product advertising to me based on my search results and provides good search results. I'm happy with it

It's pretty good with its results but it's just a more "private" bing front end. They've been caught allowing Microsoft trackers in its browser + the CEO said it will censor search results of "russian propaganda". I'm done with it

Tried it already, pretty good results. But its basically a proxy between you and other search engines. I think in the near future we will need open source indexing algorithms we can't rely on Microsoft google etc for results
