Also I believe even when unstaking comes out they said it’d be a 7-day period to unstake, to discourage people from rapidly staking and unstaking, and keep the size of the pool relatively stable, so I think swapping hbarx for hbar will probably always be attractive to anyone interested in moving quickly, although that will then push price so eventually arbitrageurs will stake or unstake larger quantities at a time I imagine.

What someone determined to be a fair exchange rate is subjective - if someone wanted out of hbarx now, while there is still no other way out, a fair price for them might be lower than 1.08ħ / 1ħx so if they wanted to tolerate this form of “unstaking” through swap, they could offload a bit more than $7 - however overall, you’re correct, there’s very very little liquidity there so far. I believe we will have to wait for something that incentivizes liquidity providers a bit more, and/or an exchange that is more trusted than tangent, which I expect SS will be.

Also, if you were to do this slowly over a long period, it seems likely that as you push the exchange rate, someone else will come along and push it back the other direction by swapping ħ for cheap ħx.

but not to offload at ripoff rate when they will get lower rate below even 1:1, below what they invested. Where is the API link to feed below the current Stader exchange rate on that Dex, for user to be aware. They should never allow to bid so low, to block at code level for that pair.

You can’t unstake but you could swap hbarx for hbar on tangent. Seems to work so far, and since tx fees on hedera are so low, you can do it in many small chunks if you don’t trust tangent yet and fees still don’t add up to much. However there’s not a ton of liquidity yet so you’ll end up noticeably pushing the exchange rate. If you decide to use this as an alternative to unstaking. I’d do a little at a time over a long period.
