stETH is not 1:1 with ETH currently. That’s because there’s no hard peg that solidifies 1:1, since ETH withdrawals are not yet enabled on the beacon chain for Eth2.

Yup. stETH rebases to wherever it is stored, regardless of the individual staker.

Ahh i get it.. the reward will go for who buying it cheaper same like company stock to meet final price. Merge day is hell of payday

Rewards go to every stETH holder through rebases, it’ll be able to be redeemed for ETH after withdrawals are enabled sometime after the Merge. Since it’s not 1:1 right now, you can buy stETH (essentially ETH at a discount) if you are willing to hold it till then.
