Every time I read about eating the bugs I am

really laughing. Why they push this? I mean celebrities eating insects, western mainstream media pushing this etc. More logical would be promoting vegan/vegetarian diet or at least Japanese/Italian cousine. Less red meat, more vegetables, rice, fish, eggs, milk, cheese. Seems pretty retarded tbh. Why bugs?

Disgusting stuff. What the point to live then? I mean if you "trying to save the environment" literally by destroying yourself, your way of life and even little pleasure (like simple and healthy food)?

Vegetarian diets are horrible for the environment if you rly think about it. The insane amounts of water that goes into producing most crops is devastating to anyone downstream. Bugs on the other hand require very little per pound. Hell, FoodTV even made an amusing commercial about eating Mopane Worms a decade or two ago ("Mmnn!.. tastes like honey glazed chicken!")
