So I have to argue against a hypothetical scenario that

you craft not a real world example. How do you want to rectify it? If you user is concerned about the funding of the contract, feel free to put your own money into it. Not every single aspect of a protocol can be decentralized to your standard. Do they have to decentralize the function? The code? The Ethernet cabling standard? The OS running the node? The routing protocol? Does there need to be a keepers alternative? Keepers just call a function automatically based on certain parameters. Anyone can call these functions and pay their own gas. And anyone can write their own non keepers bot to do it. I'd say it's not a concern.
