pool has 16.9k USDC locked at every tick of the price if the total amount of usdc deposited in the pool is 18.3k?

Because when LP set a price range for a pool, it will cover all the liquidity of each tick price within the range you set, so it totally make sense. Pls check the article I send above, you will understand the protocol pool mechanisms

it’s says exectly the same, the liquidity is distributed evenly over selected range then it can’t be 20k USDC covering dozens of price ticks 16.9k each

I understand that "evenly" not means the value is not divided. Liquidity will be used continuously and complement each other, so 16k is normal. For example, if you don't provide 4usd for 4 tick prices, each tick is 1usd, it can be reused and cross-used so each tick price can be maximum 4usd.
