managers and expansion department but it looks like nothing happening on expansion and promotion part from. I appreciate we are receiving development updates, progress looking genuine, but that’s development, technical and Founders part, so I’m just genuine wondering ( again not to offend anyone in Cartesi team ), but what is a role of expansion and marketing departments? What is a strategy of these departments? From my own experience, marketing and expansion departments attracting investors and spreading the word to the world, but here it looks like we are stuck on reposting same posts for weeks. I haven’t seen posts and marketing anywhere apart from twitter and telegram…shouldn’t we be shouting to the whole World about this uniq project?
I compeletly agree with your idea. Cartesi must be active in marketing until people and developer can find the ability of project. Unfortunatly many of people don’t know about CTSI and they don’t try to invest it.
They have spoken about looking into ads for mainstream media, but that has been a while ago. Same for partnerships. They might be looking at the right time to execute their marketing mission? Maybe when testnet or mainnet is live, as it would not really do much at this point. It is difficult to notice a marketing strategy right now, but I hope that they do have a strategy that they want to deploy at the right time..
it makes sense what you say Daniel, hope you’re right and at the right time they will implement proper marketing because project like this is not attracting investment funds/hedge funds. I know hedgefunds attraction got own bonuses and minuses but its a game changer for development, progress etc
The team is the first interested to make the project successful, don’t you guys think so?
Hi there! Sorry to hear that you’re not seeing the work the team has been working on - have you been keeping up to date with our campaign showcasing the developers pioneering on The Blockchain OS and building exciting, new DApps? To also help clarify, there are not 3 marketing managers at Cartesi - we have Nathalie, Head of Marketing and myself on Digital Marketing 🙌 Asides from working on the new campaign just mentioned we’re working hard on generating awareness of Cartesi and The Blockchain OS through a variety of different methods - social media ads, events, video, podcasts and more. We post on all our social channels with new content throughout the week - feel free to take a look at the pinned message here in this group for the links to where else we’re active 😊
Can you build a gaming website using Cartesi's OS?
Are you familiar with Texas HODL’em?
The downloadable poker app. Yes. I'm asking about a gaming "Website" such as CoolMathGames
I had to google that.. first time I’ve seen it. You mean a similar but decentralized? I’m a bit confused on what you mean
Hi Karmen, no need to apologise:) Not saying you’re not working hard. I am always up to date with all Cartesi progress. It is great you’re working on showcasing etc, but what I mean is, the news about Cartesi are not getting to wide public such as potential investors, yes we live in twitter and telegram times but myself and much bigger investors are not really following twitter facebook etc, there are much better opportunities to attract more money, example - London advfn services where many investors meet to discuss markets, Cartesi is also there but there are no news unders Cartesi ticker, no discussions and no mention about progress, there are also other websites where potential investors are discussing markets and making decisions but again, nothing about Cartesi. Of curse this is only my opinion, not to offend anyone and please don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to challenge the hard work you do:) my views are based on my 15 years experience in stock markets but I have no doubt there are many more people out there who know things better than me:)
I think it’s good feedback and valuable suggestions! But you really need to frame it differently, as the previous way sounded as a complain towards the team and far from constructive criticism…
Hi Confused IP! Thanks for your message and taking the time to clarify 😊 We’ll take a look at the platforms/places you mentioned and will discuss with the team on how to increase visibility across here too. Definitely good to learn about how we can reach different audiences outside of the typical social media platforms. We do want to focus on reaching developers, and are looking into engaging with communties on Stackoverflow, Github, Hashnode, etc, but also understand the importance of reaching new investors as well. Thank you for your feedback and support - it is well appreciated!
