It may be controversial, but I cut off all internet connection of my PC, create a veracrypt container. Inside of the container, I create a text file and put the seed phrase and stuff. When all is noted, I close the container and regain internet connection and store it wherever online. That way, it's backed up somewhere other than just on a paper where anyone can access it (if it's not in a vault).

Interesting, I guess using VeraCrypt is sufficient; would it be ok to use your same method with pgp encryption (4096 bit key)?

With that, sure. As a precaution, I'd always unplug before entering in a seed phrase. It's safe until the encryption algorithm is cracked, but will it? :)
