I like monero but I'd like to have some btc

as well, do y'all think that buying monero and then exchanging it for Bitcoin sometimes is safer than buying it directly on some exchange? Or even p2p depending on the methods of payment

Yes. You could buy XMR on localmonero.co without KYC, transfer to cakewallet.io, and use their trocador integration to swap into BTC. JUST BE WARY OF EVER SENDING THAT BTC TO A CEX. COIN TAINT CAN GET ACCOUNTS SUSPENDED OR CLOSED. AKA the BTC fungibility issue.

Just buy and withdraw from kucoin

If you already have XMR, the swap option in the apps (e.g., Cake, Stack and Monerujo) seems ideal for that. If you end up taking the exchange route, choose one with no KYC and have it be a new, fresh account, not leaving much of a trail behind.
