say what? 1 sec polling would be alright for serious miners though, if that was the only delay or it was below 20sec lag (UI latency)

If the pots change every mine and theres 100s per second.. only getting a value once per second is still missing 99%of the dataset

trust me I know all of that at this point, but still it is valuable, more than having 70s latency
