key is encrypted and split in 3 parts. to regenerate the key, it can only happen on your physical ledger device. so in theory they are correct. the seed or recovery phrase is never shared. they should make a flowchart of what happens during this recovery service.

that works in theory, but as a consumer can you verify this whole process has happened correctly from the beginning until the end ? It's not open source so it's really just a "trust me bro this is how we do it"
