This is a false narrative. There are no set date coin dumps. HBAR are sold throughout the month or quarter as needed. Even the big single releases earlier in the year to Swirlds were just HBAR being moved from Hedera treasury to Swirlds treasury as payment and then Swirlds will slowly sell those over the next two years as needed.

In the original release schedule 2033 was the year of full token circulation, but it will be earlier now. How early we can’t tell exactly as of my understanding. They will release but often not sell them to the market right away.. they use it for example to pay for developers and development of the ecosystem. If you ask me then I rather have all hbar in circulation rather sooner then later.. then there will be scarcity, and that will be good for the price of hbar.

The ecosystem is growing faster than originally expected so token release had to be changed. Long term this should make no difference, the closer we get to 50B the more valuable HBAR will become

People also often think that releasing tokens is the same as dumping on the market, but that is not true.. it often takes a long time for them to actually reach the market, if they reach market at all. Developers can also hold on to them 😎💪🏻

That’s the whole point.. it doesn’t matter if coins are released on a certain date.. they won’t come in the open market on that date.. so nothing happens on that date with the price of hbar

Regardless if they're released to open market or not, the circulating supply will increase by 1.27billion, and in this speculative market going on previous token releases, it has an impact on current price, market cap and trading habits, 🙈... Again time will tell eh, lets see

Yes the coins will be released but for completely a different reason. There are projects out there they literally dump the coins on people and the owners cash out and there are projects like Hedera where they release coins because they are investing those coins to improve the project and the ecosystem. I think it literally doesn't matter as long as those coins are used for the right reason. I don't think price would dip much

I know, im not saying yer wrong😅 but historically there is a dip when tokens are released regardless of what reasons for the release, and im just speculating in a speculative market... Based on previous trends... But ive obviously upset some snowflakes😅

I would love to see your data where there was a price drop on a given date correlated to big coin releases since there haven’t been any big coin releases on a predetermined date. (Again, other than the Swirlds payment - which were treasury transfers and did not cause a price drop because they were not sold on the market immediately or in a big billion coin drop).

No, they weren’t. This is incorrect information.

I thought we covered this already. The website you are looking at is incorrect. Hedera has released about 200 million HBAR in the past three weeks or so. There was no release on June 1st of 1.2 billion HBAR.
