What is a Bridge? A Bridge is a "bridge between chains"

(centralized or decentralized), which allows assets to be transferred between them.

The first thing we must know is that Syscoin is made up of two chains (UTXO and NEVM), therefore we will need to make a Bridge to pass assets between them.

As they are different chains, we have to take into account that the wallets where the assets will be stored may be different depending on the chain where we will store our $SYS.

When you make a Bridge, you must have a minimum of funds in both Wallets to be able to pay the small network fees.
At Syscoin we have a Faucet that allows you to obtain a surplus amount to carry out various transactions when you initially do not have funds.

There are 2 types of Bridges:

- Decentralized:
» Type /bridge

- Centralized:
* Use Exchanges with a single chain (UTXO or NEVM)
» Sell $SYS for USDT
» Send USDT for TRC20 to the other Exchange
» Buy back $SYS
» Withdraw the $SYS for the other chain

* Use Exchange with both chains (UTXO and NEVM)
» Receive $SYS for a chain
» Withdraw $SYS for the other chain
