Hey there, will get back to you regarding that!

Me, as a coder, undertand the need to not open source code all the time, I agree with that. But definitely, being a defi protocol, working in that way and after what happened with IB, is far away to be the right approach. Theres no need to open source your core code, all the business logic but is a standard to at least show the server-client code (client/protocol interaction) the RPC itself, the smart contract in this case
