Hi, honestly I see no benefit on transforming Celo in

another L2…and then by the way what will be about CEUR and CUSD?

Price pump any reason ?

Celo to migrating from an EVM-compatible L1 protocol to→ an Ethereum L2 protocol blockchain. This is a bullish move that could spike the price of CELO token soon. Read all about it here: https://forum.celo.org/t/clabs-proposal-for-celo-to-transition-to-an-ethereum-l2/6109

Celo cannot compete with top tier blockchains like Polkadot, Solana or Algorand. Given the high compatibility of Celo with Ethereum, it is good to become an L2.

I think that an official bridge and a partnership with Circle wolud be nice. In this way we can deprecate cusd and ceur.

I think this is indeed a valid question. I also wonder how long these algo-stables will keep liquidity on an L2. They could potentially migrate cUSD to a native USDC token from Circle? But that's not really possible for cEUR and cREAL

I hope they get deprecated in favor of USDC and ERUC

Same. Chains don't really have the best track-record creating and managing their own stables 😅

Ye also DAI had some difficulties in the past, don't know now but algorithmic stables isn't a good thing.
