little bit of usdt to TrustWallet "PoS Tether USD Wormhole (SPL)" in the form of a withdrawal from Gate exchange (where I had selected Solana USDT network).
The funds do not show, even if blockchain confirmed.
They were just a bunch of dollars, not a dramatic loss, but still trying to figure out what went wrong, technically speaking. I mean: how many Solana USDT could exist ? 😅
Hey Daniel! Can you explain what pos thether usd wormhole is, so I can answer your question? Thanks
Good question. It is how TrustWallet calls the Solana USDT network, when you press on its tab and read the details.
Have you sent this USDT ?
It's not native USDT on #Solana!
So, money lost or... ?
So the sender (Gate . io exchange), what actually tried to do ?
You may reach out to Gate exchange tech support for more assist!
But, in your opinion, what Gate . io mean by offering a USDT withdrawal option via Solana ?
Simple if you withdraw USDT using Solana , you will get SPL USDT! Which is Native USDT on Solana!
Which is meant to say that TrustWallet does not support native USDT Solana, correct ? They call it Solana USDT, but in reality it's sintentic.
Trust wallet support SPL USDT you may manually add ! Smart contract : Es9vMFrzaCERmJfrF4H2FYD4KCoNkY11McCe8BenwNYB
So Gate sent real native USDT-Solana (to a non native address) TrustWallet was expecting SPL USDT-Solana According to you, have I lost this money ?
They do Just add by smartcontract
Just add the SMC and you will see the USDT in trustwallet
Yes! Its solved! Thank you 😊
