There is an example for you to consider. Do you know USDJ stablecoin? It has been trading in range 1.10-1.15 for months and noone [from those who can] bothered with restoring it's peg to USD. The relation here is that it is also mostly abandoned project.

During these several days conversion rate to swap it to TRX has become less favorable. It's now around 7% worse than rate for new ETH token. Whether you continue to wait for a possibility to swap it 1:1 to new token or swap to TRX is up to you.
