Solana traded speed for security. That's a fact. It's been quiet for a while and hasn't suffered attacks. If they are still leader based and I think they are, they will be attacked again. Leemon explained this several times. Hedera being aBFT clearly wins here. The SEC has sued Solana but has not sued Boeing, IBM, LG, Dell etc who ARE Hedera. They and other council members are all partners with many government agencies. Personally, I don't think it will happen. If you pull up the leader board for CMC from 5 or 10 years ago, many in the top 100 have dropped or are gone. That is happening now as those that have been sued by the SEC are slowly and insidiously dropping. We are number 30 and 5 above us are stable coins so essentially we are number 25. So many overnight changes could occur like Elon dropping support for Doge. Remember a group of Doge holders sued him which is the height of ingratitude IMO. They and other coins could drop while Hedera is growing daily. I like our chances against Solana and every other utility coin in above us.

In one way we already have won the fight. We do many more Txns than all those and all the others combined. But the thing is, we don’t really need to focus on beating those platforms. In order to be successful all Hedera needs to do now is to keep growing the DLT market. Since they are already such a respected name they will grow massively in such an environment. All L1 and L2 platforms have their challenges. Only a very few will survive IMO. I do believe Hedera will be one of those. Quite possibly the biggest. All IMO.
