Has Tyler or any AMP Team member explained how a

company like Amazon would handle returns?

I use Amazon because I know it is easy to make returns, that is the nature of many consumer purchases - you are getting some protection by using a credit card because the merchant knows that you can insist on a return.

I'd never use crypto to buy anything on Amazon if I knew I could not return.

Returns would be up to the merchant as to how they handle it. My guess for a large internet retailer like amazon is they would offer store credit in some form.

A lot of purchases are so small or cheap on Amazon that credit card protection is likely not that important. I think Amazon allow returns so easy because it’s more a part of their business model, but I get what you are saying, some bigger online buys a lot of people utilise the protection offered by CC
