Jesus that was a very nicely detailed explanation of ampera. Never read this one. I thought I did. Love how it states that "ampera is the latest project from the amp community". Reminds me of what @HalfAGlass stated many moons ago. That this is just one use case from the "ampera foundation" and that we can most likely see future projects that will continue to bring value to amp token. 🔥 🔥
Tyler the kind of guy that likes to push the boundaries 👌
Yup, very important point. The registration in the BVI makes it clear that their purpose is well beyond just this first project (Ampera Protocol). They want to promote and influence all of DeFi. I would bet that several more projects are at least being talked about if not actually some preliminary work beginning on them. I hope they don't attempt direct distributions of AMP to current holders with revenue. We will benefit from open market buys with revenue and then use that treasury for further grants to keep building the ecosystem.
Agree 💯 The thing that still bothers me is that at the NYC meet-up last year, Tyler stated that the same economic model for amp that Flexa uses, WILL be rolled into the protocol. But since then, it hasn't been addressed or clarified as to what he meant. As far as I know. I'm pretty sure he meant open market buybacks as you stated, but it would be nice to have some clarification on that. I think that alone could calm down almost the whole community. Hopefully I get to ask him about this at next week's meet-up
I think he was speaking in more general terms about AMP benefitting from revenue, but as you say there are no details yet. Partly because the ecosystem is evolving and partly because there will be some community involvement in the discussions and subsequent voting for allocation. It is enough to know that Amp benefits and the details will come later.
Gotcha. That makes sense.
Another good question since you are attending meetup is whether they are making progress on opening an Amsterdam office. His reaction/response will be helpful. Will it be, "That is a Flexa thing and I have no idea" or "That is in the process and we are excited about it" or "No real hurry for it". Amsterdam office will tell us if they are part of what is being built in the EU or not going after that market.
Great question. Will do!
